Privacy Policy
What the Palmr Combat app collects, why, and how to get your data deleted. We keep it short and specific, because the app collects little.

The short version
- You can explore the app in demo mode without an account and without giving us anything.
- If you sign in, we store your name, email address, and profile photo from Apple or Google, plus your coaching data.
- Classes at participating gyms are recorded on video only, with no audio, and shared with that gym's approved members. We do not use facial recognition.
- Footage from recorded classes may appear in Palmr promotional material, as set out in our Terms. We never name you in it without permission.
- We use no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with data brokers.
- Email hello@palmr.ai and we will delete your account and data.
What we collect

That is the whole list. We do not collect location, contacts, health data, audio, biometric identifiers, or advertising identifiers.
Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email
If you use Sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your email address. When you do, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one, and that relay address is all we ever see or store. Apple shares your name with us only the first time you sign in.
Camera and photos
Camera: used only to scan your coach's QR code so you can connect without typing their ID. Nothing from the camera is stored or transmitted — the code is read on your device and discarded.
Photos: the app asks for add-only access so it can save class recordings and reels you choose to export. It cannot read, browse, or upload your existing photo library.
Class recordings
Recordings are captured by fixed, wide-angle cameras at participating gyms. They're video only, with no audio. They are shown in the app to approved members of that gym and to Palmr and gym staff. Footage may also appear in Palmr promotional material, as set out in our Terms of Service, and we never name you in it without permission. We do not run facial recognition or create biometric identifiers from them. To make class highlights, head counts and short clips that follow one person, we automatically detect body positions (pose), not faces or identities. In the free versions, faces are covered with emoji or blurred. If a clip or moment shows you, you can choose to mark it as “That's me”; we never identify you automatically. Recordings are normally available in the app for about 30 days. We may keep copies longer for security, troubleshooting, legal reasons, or to improve the Service. Kids' and family classes are not available in the app. If you'd rather not appear in recordings, or want a specific recording removed, email hello@palmr.ai.
Who else touches your data
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) to run the accounts, database, and media storage behind the app, and Google Sign-In if you choose that sign-in method. They process this data on our behalf as our infrastructure providers. Stripe processes membership payments, and Resend delivers our account emails. Your gym can see your membership and approval status.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose data otherwise only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and coaching data for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove it and the associated data from our production systems, and it ages out of routine backups thereafter. Bug reports you submit are kept while we work through the issue.
Your choices
- Use the app without an account — tap Continue with demo.
- Get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it — email hello@palmr.ai from the address linked to your account.
- Revoke Sign in with Apple — iOS Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Palmr Combat.
- Change camera or photo permissions — iOS Settings → Palmr Combat.
- Keep identifiable footage of you out of our promotional material: email hello@palmr.ai.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. Email us and we will honour them.
Children
Palmr Combat is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Classes for children and families are not available in the app. If you believe a child has given us data, email hello@palmr.ai and we will delete it.
